Community: Rich community spirit is evident wherever you live in the Valley. Local chapters of various nationwide organizations, spiritual centers, and churches are abundant. Plus, involved adolescent programs, senior centers, school districts, and prolific art programs are all present to enrich each resident's life and instill a sense of pride in the community. No matter what your preferences, you'll discover plenty of options available to make you feel right at home.

Things to do: Do you have an unquenchable zest for adventure or do you prefer to simply relax and appreciate the beauty of the southwest? You can do either here. For example, you can go hiking at Camelback Mountain or Squaw Peak; play 18 holes of golf at some of the world's finest golf courses; or just relax while taking in breathtaking mountain views. Snowboarding is even an option, followed by a night at the theater and dinner at a 5 star restaurant. The activities available in the Phoenix metropolitan area are as diverse as its population.

Golf: I already mentioned golf, but it deserves its own heading. The Scottsdale / Phoenix area sports hundreds of golf courses, and you can golf year round’. A recent Robb Report named Scottsdale “one of the ten best places to live for golf”. There are also plenty of golf communities where you can live right on the course. It doesn’t get much better than that for a golfer.

Weather: You've heard this before, but it's true: "It's a dry heat." Summer months register temperatures from 90 degrees and above, but without stifling humidity. Of course, winter months are just perfect for outdoors as well, with temperatures hovering around 70 degrees. And rain? It's the desert, so there isn't much. Check out today's forecast. Oh look!
